SURVIVAL SHOEBOXES

We would like to create an easy way to pass out food and other items to those individuals and families who are homeless, living in un-maintained housing with no cooking facilities, or who are struggling financially.

These individuals may visit the reservation church only once or may be discovered during an outreach. Having something readily available to distribute and complete in itself not only meets a need, but provides an opportunity to share the gospel, invite a person to church, and show God’s love in a practical way.

Please fill empty shoe boxes with items listed below. Determine whether your gift will be for a child or an adult, and whether it will be for a male or female.

Create a label, or click on the "PRINT INSTRUCTIONS and LABELS" box to print one page containing these instructions and the labels.

Affix the label to the END of the box using glue or cellophane tape.

Choose one of the three (3) categories below to fill your shoebox:

HYGIENE BOX — Essential items such as Toothbrush, Toothpaste, Bar Soap, Comb, Washcloth, Feminine products, and Travel size Shampoo, Lotion, and Deodorant.

WINTER BOX — Socks, Gloves, Scarf, Hat, Long Underwear

FOOD BOX — Ready-to-eat small or individual items such as Vienna Sausages, Spam, Tuna, Beans, Cereal, powdered or boxed liquid Milk, Fruit and/or Granola Bars, Snack Crackers, Peanut Butter, Cookies, Chips, Pop-Tarts, fruit drinks, etc.

PLEASE DO NOT INCLUDE: Used or damaged items, chocolate, perishable food, out-of-date food or candy, glass containers or aerosol cans.
